Emergency Assistance

Are you having trouble making ends meet because you are living on a limited retirement or disability income, have been laid off from your job or have an unexpected expense such as a high medical bill?

If so, you may need help with emergency food, diapers, personal care items such as soap and shampoo, tokens for work-related travel, or help paying your rent, a utility bill or a prescription.

These are areas that one of our emergency assistance centers may be able to help you with, depending on the resources available.

Call the appropriate number during the hours listed and explain your problem to the receptionist. If the center offers the kind of assistance you need, the receptionist will make an appointment for you. You will also learn what information you should bring to your appointment.

Always call first because you may need a service that we do not offer. In that case, the receptionist will try to refer you to a program that does.

If you need emergency housing, please call Samaritan House at 303-294-0241.
