Regina Caeli Clinical Services
Regina Caeli Clinical Services (RCCS) is a comprehensive psychological service ministry of Catholic Charities. The name refers to Our Mother Mary, Queen of Heaven (in Latin, Regina Caeli). RCCS is specifically designed to meet the mental health needs of the Catholic Community in the Archdiocese of Denver. Although services are available to anyone regardless of religious affiliation, RCCS therapists provide mental health services consistent with Catholic doctrine and the moral teaching of the Church.
Regina Caeli Clinical Services consists of three major areas.
Clinical Services
The psychological needs of individuals and families within our Catholic Community are well known, and a great source of suffering for the Church. Psychological services can help restore and strengthen the Catholic Community. Clinic-based services include therapy to adults, children and adolescent, couples, families, and groups. Psychological, academic, and religious vocational assessment is available, as well as consultation with priests, religious, and Catholic School personnel. In addition, clinicians at RCCS welcome opportunities to speak with parish and Catholic School groups.
Catholic School-based Services
Catholic Schools sometimes need assistance in order to more effectively serve children experiencing academic or emotional difficulties. School psychology services are being provided this year in three Catholic Schools: Christ the King, Good Shepherd, and St. Rose of Lima. School-based services include educational assessment, counseling, consultation with parents and teachers, and professional development. Educational assessment is available to children in all Catholic Schools upon request.
Project Rachel Post-Abortion Counseling
Project Rachel is the post-abortion healing ministry. Although it is an outreach of the Catholic Church, Project Rachel is open to anyone who has been impacted by an abortion loss.
The RCCS Clinic is located at Catholic Charities, 4045 Pecos Street in Denver. All clinical services are fee-based. Some insurance is accepted and grants are available for those who need assistance. For more information call 720-377-1359 or 1-855-377-1359.
